Workshop: Identifying Your Design Strengths
Workshop Goal
To help designers in the QuickBooks Payments organization self-identify their strengths and unique-ness as a designer.
Setting and logistics
This session was one of a few sessions that myself and the other QuickBooks Payments design managers led to help our design organization better understand who we are as designers and humans. It was a 2-day in-person team offsite in March 2020.
My Role & Results
I was responsible for creating and leading the session to help our 30+ designers better understand who they are as designers. Designers who participated said it was a fun way to let them figure out where their skills currently are and be intentional with where they wanted to grow in the next year. After other managers found out about the session I had crafted + led, they decided to recreate the session with their own teams.
